“Medvedev to visit Belgrade”

Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic has told daily Blic that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is due to visit Serbia by the end of the year. “We are working with the Russian side on President Medvedev’s visit to Belgrade. We hope that it will happen by the end of the year,” Jeremic told Blic. “Medvedev to visit Belgrade” He also said that “relations with the Russian Federation are of strategic importance” to Serbia. President Boris Tadic had invited Medvedev at the end of last year to visit Serbia while he was in Moscow for the signing of the gas agreement between the two countries.
