Opposition Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Kostunica says Serbia needs a new national gathering. The former prime minister spoke in Novi Sad on Sunday to his party's main board meeting, to explain that this is needed in order to organize parliamentary elections as soon as possible, along with a referendum on our country's NATO membership. Kostunica urges elections, NATO referendum Kostunica said that "the struggle against the adoption of the anti-constitutional Vojvodina statute is the highest state, national, economic and patriotic interest of Serbia". The DSS leader also announced that his party would adopt a document dubbed, the Declaration on Vojvodina.
