Voting repeated in three polling stations

Voting in early local elections in the Belgrade municipality of Vozdovac will repeat today in three polling stations. This was ordered after elections commissions found that last Sunday's voting was faulty in the three locations. Voting repeated in three polling stations Some 1,500 people are eligible to vote today. According to the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) and the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), SNS won 18 seats in the local assembly in Vozdovac, while the DS-led List for a European Vozdovac coalition will have 17. CeSID Program Director Marko Blagojevic told B92 that the repeated voting will not dramatically change the outcome of the elections in this municipality, and specified that it could go as far as bringing one extra seat to one of the competing parties, "and likely at the expense, that is, to the benefit, of one of the minor parties". On Thursday, June 18, local elections will also be repeated in one polling station in Kosjeric, in western Serbia.
