A high ruling G17 Plus party official says that "as far as her party's concerned", Vojvodina statue “can be sent to parliament at once”. G17 Plus deputy leader and Minister Without Portfolio in charge of the National Investment Plan Verica Kalanovic denied in an interview for the Novi Sad daily Dnevnik the claims that members of the local G17 Plus municipal board and the party's headquarters in Belgrade did not share the same view in respect to Vojvodina's status. "Statute can be sent to parliament" Commenting on the differences which the parties of the ruling coalition had over that issue, Kalanovic assessed that a “politicization of the matter will not help resolve the problems of those that the law refers to, but is rather aimed at sending marketing messages to the electorate”.
