The Netherlands has announced that its position on Serbia's EU integration remains unchanged. This came after the latest report from Chief Hague Prosecutor Serge Brammertz to the UN Security Council regarding Serbia's cooperation with the Hague Tribunal. Support growing for Serbia, says Djelic A spokesman for the Dutch foreign ministry said that his country's stance remained the same because the report did not appraise that Belgrade had established full cooperation with this court. In Belgrade, Deputy Premier Bozidar Djelic said that although "at the moment" nothing can be done against the Dutch blockade on the SAA, "support for Serbia both in Europe and America is growing". Although the association deal between Belgrade and Brussels was signed more than a year ago, it was immediately frozen. Serbia in the meantime must try to finalize its cooperation with the tribunal, Djelic added. He also commented "with more optimism" on EU Commissioner Jacques Barrot's statement that abolishment of the visa regime imposed on Serbians would be suggested. Should the commission decide to by the end of July officially propose placing the Serbian citizens on the so-called white Schengen list, "it would increase the changes that a plan to have Serbians travel to EU without visas by the beginning of next year might still be realized".
