Interior Minister Ivica Dacic and Police Directorate chief Milorad Veljovic today in Novi Sad visited MUP police officer Darko Vulic. Vulic was stabbed in the stomach on Saturday as he was arresting an extortion case suspect. Dacic visits wounded policeman The minister reminded that police work is difficult, and constantly under the watchful eye of the public. Dacic said that those officers who overstep their duties must be held responsible, but also reminded that none of the persons suspected of attacking policemen have so far been sent to jail in any of the court processes against them. Vulic was treated for his wounds yesterday at an emergency center in Novi Sad, and released soon after.
