Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu announced that Pristina would fulfill all demands from Marti Ahtisaari’s plan in connection with cultural heritage. “We were engaged to work on the matter of cultural heritage in the scope of the Ahtisaari plan. There is now need for other steps which are not within this scope,” said Sejdiu. The UN mission in Kosovo is expected to take the leading role at the forum or roundtable discussion, while participants will include Pristina and Belgrade officials, special EU delegate Pieter Feith, as well as UNESCO and Council of Europe specialists. All of them were sent an official invitation last week to hold the first meeting sometime this week.
