"Thaci government losing Kosovo"

Ramush Haradinaj says that the Kosovo Albanian government led by Hashim Thaci is "losing Kosovo with each passing day", local media in Pristina are reporting. Haradinaj, once Thaci's fellow KLA leader and subsequently Kosovo's premier and Hague war crimes defendant, was acquitted of all charges last year and is now leading the opposition Alliance for the Future of Kosovo. Haradinaj also stated he was convinced elections would be organized this year, and said a new government would be formed, which will, "unlike that of Thaci, spread to Leposavic". He was referring to a northern Serb town on the administrative line between Kosovo and central Serbia. He also spoke about party matters. "It is normal that people come from other parties. It is normal that they transfer from the Democratic Party of Kosovo and from others, but that it is not the main goal. The goal is for people to believe what I say and that every day they are more and more sure that with the government we have – we are losing Kosovo." Haradinaj also criticized the government in Pristina for "interfering" in the selection of the members of the recently established Kosovo Security Forces, pointing out that Kosovo's institutions should negotiate to have the number of those joining the formation increased.
