Dačić spends New Year in GSZ

Interior Minister Ivica Dacic saw in the Orthodox New Year last night at the Tabalija police control point near Novi Pazar with Gendarmerie members. At midnight Dacic wished the officers luck and success in both their professional and private lives, stressing they had an important mission to perform for both the state and the people, and that while others were celebrating, they were ensuring peace and security in the Ground Safety Zone (GSZ) near the administrative line with Kosovo. The police officers familiarized themseves with the situation at the administrative line with Kosovo. In Novi Pazar, where Dacic met with local self-government representatives, he said that Novi Pazar was at the heart of many maps on criminal activity. “The spirit of the former Yugoslavia and fraternity and unity is only kept alive by criminals, who know no borders and function together,“ he said.
