"Military ties with U.S. best part of cooperation"

State Secretary with the Ministry of Defense Dusan Spasojevic is in Washington, on a visit to the United States. On Wednesday, he stated that it was "jointly concluded during numerous meeting in Pentagon and the U.S. State Department" that the military cooperation is the best part of the overall cooperation between the United States and Serbia. "Military ties with U.S. best part of cooperation" "Our acknowledgment of the fact was accompanied with the feelings of both satisfaction and sadness, since it would be more natural and better to have best relations in the areas of politics, economy and culture," he told Tanjug news agency in a telephone conversation. The state secretary underscored that further prospects to promote bilateral military cooperation were discussed at the meetings in Pentagon, the U.S. state Department and the White House. The new chief of the U.S. National Guard will visit Serbia by the end of the year, which will be one of his first trips abroad in that capacity, according to Spasojevic.
