Deputy PM Bozidar Djelic and top Turkish officials agreed to establishm a free trade zone between the two countries. They will also work to exchange of political and economic delegations that would review the possibility for an intensive bilateral economic cooperation, Tanjug reports from Istanbul. Turkey has special importance, says Djelic Speaking for the news agency after the end of the World Economic Forum in Istanbul, Djelic said that he had met with the Turkish foreign minister, ministers of economy and energy and mayor of Istanbul. "We leave the Economic Forum as a delegation with reinforced top-level relations with Turkey and possibility that Serbia properly participate in the development of one of the big countries not just in our region, but generally, in the world," Djelic said. He said that a visit to Belgrade next year of the Turkish president or prime minister and a numerous business delegation had been agreed on in Istanbul. "It is of great importance for us to make efforts regarding Corridor 10 with Turkey, because it is not enough to build the road, traffic must be ensured, too. Today it is some 100,000 vehicles per year. The traffic numbers may be even higher," Djelic said.
