The SRS’s candidate for Belgrade mayor, Aleksandar Vučić, says the priority of the new local govt. will be addressing the city’s infrastructure problems.

The SRS’s candidate for Belgrade mayor, Aleksandar Vucic, says the priority of the new local govt. will be addressing the city’s infrastructure problems. Vucic said that this meant completing work on bypasses, building new bridges and easing congestion in the capital. "Infrastructure to be priority in capital" Speaking to B92, the Serb Radical Party (SRS) official said that he would be discussing the best systematic solutions for Belgrade with members of all parties. “We’ll conduct systematic solutions and we’ve already spoken to our friends from other political parties, but we’ll also consult with members of the opposition in the city,“ he added. Vucic said that he would also be speaking to Belgraders themselves. “We don’t want to solve problems by pulling the wool over people’s eyes and taking money and charging commission, but by making big systematic solutions and creating so-called systematic traffic management, as well as the many other things that we’ll try to solve in Belgrade,“ said the SRS candidate for mayor.
