The parliament has responded positively to ethnic parties' request to have official documents translated to their languages. Speaker Oliver Dulic announced that as of Monday a parliamentary translation service will provide documents translated from Serbian to a host of the country's ethnic minorities' languages. Parliament OKs language request Earlier this week, an ethnic Hungarian party made the request to exercise their right to access to adopted legislation in their mother tongue. The Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians said that another achievement of this move will be to employ more ethnic minority members in the state administration, in this case as translators.
