The Serbian embassy in Moscow today received an envelope containing white powder. The envelope was subsequently taken away by the Russian authorities for analysis. Serbian embassy in Moscow receives suspect package Serbian ambassador to Russia, Stanimir Vukicevic, told Tanjug that the envelope had arrived on Tuesday afternoon, after which the police and the corresponding Russian authorities were informed. "The embassy is working as usual, so far there have been no further developments and we are expecting an official report from the Russian authorites in charge of the matter," Vukicevic said. The Russian RIA Novosti and Interfax news agencies quoted sources within the Moscow police as saying that a team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations had been sent to the Serbian embassy to conduct an investigation.
