The first session of the Parliament following its summer recess will be held on August 28. Parliament Speaker Oliver Dulic stated Sunday the agenda will feature the election of members to the Council of the State Audit Institution, the ratification of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) and the Kyoto Protocol. Parliament resumes work He added that deputies will also debate proposed amendments to the Law on Prevention of Violence at Sports Events. When it comes to the election of the Constitutional Court judges, Dulic said that ruling parties and those of the opposition “will try to draft a joint list of ten candidates for the post.” Asked whether the Parliament will manage to fulfill obligations stipulated in the Constitutional Law and adopt all legislation necessary for the continuation of Serbia’s European integration, the speaker said that “everything is possible where there's wisdom, patience, tolerance and will among parties and lawmakers.” Oliver Dulic (Beta)
