Party warns of anti-Hungarian incidents
According to him, in addition to two anti-Hungarian graffiti that appeared in Subotica, a group of Serb boys mistreated members of the Hungarian ethnic community in the village of Bačko Petrovo, “lining them up and making them sing the Serbian national anthem.”“The Hungarian boys were bullied into learning the anthem and some other Serbian songs so as to avoid being beaten up,” Pastor alleged.
The SVM leader hoped that these were only isolated cases.
“These incidents should not be perceived only as attacks on the members of the Hungarian ethnical minority, but seen as attempts to disrupt the state’s order as well.”
