EU, Serbia continue talks Wednesday
Beta reported its diplomatic sources in Brussels as saying that the full cooperation with the Hague remained the prerequisite for the SAA to be finalized.“If Serbia overcame the Hague obstacle, the EU might display much greater political will to complete the talks and initial the agreement in the shortest time possible,” the same sources said.
At the beginning of a fresh round of SAA talks, the European Commission will present the Serbian delegation with the draft Agreement along with all EU-sponsored amendments.
The Serbian delegation, headed by Deputy Prime Minister for European Integrations Božidar Đelić, and the EC delegation, led by Director for the Western Balkans Pierre Mirel, will then move on to discuss Agreement’s preamble, its general provisions, EU-Serbia political dialogue, and regional cooperation.
