“Why wait until autumn,” Ceku wondered, adding he understood it was a difficult decision to make, particularly for Russia, but stressed that delays would not be helpful.

“In case of Russian veto in the UN Security Council our attitude will depend on recommendations from the United States, teh European Union and the UN secretary general," Agim Ceku said, underscoring that "Kosovo leaders will not declare independence without their consent."
