Tadić, Koštunica confirm gov’t aims

These principles include safeguarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia, achieving full co-operation with the Hague Tribunal, creating better living conditions, continuation of European integration and the fight against organized crime and corruption.

The President and the Prime Minister said that resuming negotiations on the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU was one of the most important tasks of the new government, so that Serbia could attain the official EU candidate status by the end of 2008.
