"Disputed documents": It's looking into whether Djokovic lied on his border entry

Now the Serb is under accusations that he lied in the documents, that is, that he did not travel anywhere 14 days before entering Australia.

The document, which shows that Djokovic "ticked" the negative answer, was published by the American journalist Ben Rothenberg.

It is being speculated that Novak was preparing in Marbella, Spain, before arriving in Melbourne, where his performance at the Australian Open is in question, regardless of the fact that the Court accepted his appeal and that he started training. If it is proven that there were irregularities, i.e. that Novak lied, he could be deported and even get a ban from entering Australia for several years.

Now, something like that is being investigated and the final word will be given by the Minister of Immigration, Alex Hawke.
