London welcomes Turkey bombing sentences
The father of one of the victims said life in prison for the main seven suspects wasn't enough: "This is not a satisfying verdict for me," he said. "It's little relief. If you ask me punishment had to be much heavier."The bombings in November, 2003, targeted two synagogues, the British consulate and a branch of the London-based HSBC Bank. They were Turkey's deadliest peacetime bombings.
