Serbia will get fifteen free promotional videos shown on Euro News in seven different languages in prime time slots. The Serbian Agency for Foreign Investment and Promotion of Exports (SIEPA) has received a special award for its campaign promoting the country's investment climate at the World Investment Conference, La Baule, according to Director Vesna Peric. Peric said that the award had been given for the agency's promotional film, its new Internet presentation and its collection of sector brochures, adding that the campaign had done a lot to improve Serbia's image abroad. Fifteen airings on Euro News would otherwise have cost tens of thousands of euros. Serbia will look to pay for additional slots in order to make the videos more effective. The Le Baule conference has been held since 2002, and promotes both competitiveness in the European market and the development of the Lisbon Agenda, the aim of which is for the European Union to become the world’s strongest economic force by 2010.
