The Higher Public Prosecution in Belgrade has concluded that there is no basis to initiate criminal proceedings in <a href="http://www.b92.net/eng/news/crimes.php?yyyy=2016&mm=10&dd=31&nav_id=99547" class="text-link" target= "_blank">the so-called Jajinci case.</a>

Prosecution drops case of weapons found near Vucic's home

Beta is reporting on Wednesday that at the time, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic "expressed his concern about Vucic's safety, and said that DNA traces belonging to three persons had been found on the weapons - that included a Zolja RPG, several hand grenades, and ammunition - but that it was difficult to isolate one trace and use it for comparison."

A few days later, Stefanovic said that that the police had located "97 persons 'of interest to security' near Vucic's home - and that 37 of them had been questioned, but without any arrests."

The minister also said at the time that Aleksandar Vucic "fears that the target was his brother Andrej."

On October 26 this year, responding to questions in the Serbian National Assembly, Stefanovic said that the investigation into the case was being iven "maximum attention" and that security services were "doing their job" - but that he could not reveal any more details publicly.
