State broadcaster RTS is reporting that it learned unofficially the car was found in 122 Gandijeva Street.

TV Pink said that the car was a Renault Megane stolen in New Belgrade in January.

The same broadcaster reported that the weapons and the explosives were found as part of the investigation into the weapons cache discovered last weekend near the family home of PM Aleksandar Vucic, in Jajinci, suburban Belgrade.

TV Pink also said that the weapons and explosives found on Tuesday are "directly linked" with those discovered in Jajinci.

The stolen Renault was "spotted on Saturday afternoon in the Jajinci forest, near the location where the cache was found."

According to TV Pink, the explosives found in New Belgrade were powerful enough "to destroy a small building, or an armored car."

Earlier on Tuesday, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic said that 37 persons have so far been questioned in connection to the weapons found in Jajinci, and that "traces of serious professionalism" were discernible in the case. He also revealed that PM Vucic "fears that his brother, Andrej, may have been the potential target."
