Police in Pozarevac, eastern Serbia, said they filed minor charges against a 29-year-old driver whose blood alcohol content was 5.24 permilles.

This is the most extreme drunk-driving case ever recorded in the area of the Pozarevac Police Administration, the police said, according to Beta agency.A statement added that Darko D., a farmer, was "indignant after the Pozarevac Dairy refused to buy milk from him, and used his tractor and a passenger vehicle to block the Svilajnac-Pozarevac road."
When police officers arrived at the scene, they found the man "visibly and seriously intoxicated," and later determined his BAC to have been 5.24 permilles.
Darko D. was held in police custody "until he sobered up" and will face misdemeanor charges.
