Man interviewed in connection with journalist murder case

A statement said there had been indications of Antic's involvement in the 2001 murder of Milan Pantic, a reporter from Jagodina.

"Although in the past Antic (Tesic) denied his involvement in the cowardly murder of Pantic, after conducting the interview, the investigators have been unable to rule him out as the potential perpetrator of this murder. The suspicion of the sincerity of Antic (Tesic) has been additionally raised by his refusal to take a polygraph test," the statement said, and added:

"We note that Antic (Tesic) in the past made statements for the media, saying that he, too, had questions for investigative organs and the Commission formed by the Government of Serbia - but during the interview these questions have not been asked."

"We hope that investigative organs will use other legal measures to uncover the truth and finally bring those who ordered and perpetrated the murder of journalist Milan Panic to justice," Matic concluded.
