Fake email attributed to police director circulated
B92 and other media received the email that seemingly came from Veljovic's address. However, it was determined that it arrived from an anonymous mail server rather than the police director's official MUP address. The letter accused the interior minister as being responsible for "the very bad situation in the police," and stressed that he and the police director "have not established good cooperation."
It criticizes Stefanovic for "politicking and self-promotion," and notes that Veljovic "does not wish to be contacted until the minister reacts."
The email arrived from a paid anonymous mail service via a server located in Nottingham in Britain.
