BELGRADE The Appellate Court said today that it annulled the decision of the Belgrade High Court in a case concerning the property in Serbia owned by Boris Berezovsky. The court overturned the temporary measure of seizure of property gains in certain Serbian companies in the proceedings against the late Russian oligarch, and returned the case for a retrial before the first-degree court. A trial is being conducted in Russia against Berezovsky and the request for international legal assistance to Serbian bodies was filed by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation on October 29, the Appellate Court released. The decision of the Belgrade High Court on July 11 envisages the measure of temporary seizure of property gains, whereby companies Danube Foods Group BV from Amsterdam and Clates Holding BV were banned from withdrawing their stakes I companies Bambi Banat AD Beograd, Zabavni Park za Decu i Omladinu Bambi Park and AD Imlek. The other companies covered in the decision comprise Mlekara Subotica AD, Knjaz Milos AD, Knjaz Milos-Natura Batajnica, Belosavac 2001 DOO Smederevska Palanka and Sekopak Beograd. According to the explanation, the High Court did not present all the evidence on ownership ties between Boris Abramovich Berezovsky and certain companies in Serbia.

A trial is being conducted in Russia against Berezovsky and the request for international legal assistance to Serbian bodies was filed by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation on October 29, the Appellate Court released.
