The police in the eastern Serbian town of Bor said that they detained ten persons for taking part in a mass brawl on Thursday evening.

BOR The police in the eastern Serbian town of Bor said that they detained ten persons for taking part in a mass brawl on Thursday evening. Several people involved in the incident suffered light injuries, including mild concussions. 10 arrested after mass brawl in eastern town According to the reports, about 50 people took part in the fight, while those arrested have been identified as Nemanja R. (32), Zivorad N. (25), Slavko B. (26), Slavisa K. (28), Mamut M. (25), Patmir M. (54), Turkijan B. (32), Agim S. (22), Elvis A. (21) and Ramiz A. (29). The police gave "unsettled inter-personal relations" as the cause of the incident, and did not provide any further details. A local police spokeswoman said that a timely intervention had prevented more serious rioting. Several police vehicles were seen patrolling the area throughout the night. According to reports last night, local Romas and Serbs were involved in the fight - however, our reporter said the reason was not ethnic intolerance, but rather "a dispute over scrap materials".
