BELGRADE A special department of the Higher Court in Belgrade issued a ruling in a case against an organized crime group known as the City Sanitation Mafia. 16 defendants have been found guilty and sentenced to a total of 72 years and nine months in prison on Monday in Belgrade. In the first instance verdict, the court declared guilty and sentenced Dragan Ignjatovic and 15 other defendants to varying prison sentences, said Prosecutor for Organized Crime Miljko Radisavljevic. Ignjatovic was sentenced to a prison term of nine years and six months, while another defendant, Vladimir Bjelanovic, got four years in prison. In the first instance verdict, the court declared guilty and sentenced Dragan Ignjatović and 15 other defendants to varying prison sentences, said Prosecutor for Organized Crime Miljko Radisavljević.
