Car hits five road workers in Belgrade
Six persons, five of whom are road workers, were injured in a car accident on Belgrade’s Gazela Bridge around 1:00 CET on Sunday.

BELGRADE Six persons, five of whom are road workers, were injured in a car accident on Belgrade’s Gazela Bridge around 1:00 CET on Sunday. A drunk driver hit the five road workers, who were placing pavement markings, with his Honda, Tanjug has learnt. Car hits five road workers in Belgrade The 23-year-old driver was remanded in custody. Three of the workers sustained serious injuries while the other two and a passenger from Honda suffer minor injuries in the crash. The worker with the most severe injuries is in the intensive care unit. Belgrade Medical Emergency Services Spokeswoman Nada Macura has said that he was thrown over the bridge railing after the impact and that he was accidently found by a military ambulance that took him to the Emergency Center.
