Judges had Ratko Mladić removed from the courtroom on Friday after he pulled out papers with contents written in large letters and handed them to his lawyers.

THE HAGUE Judges had Ratko Mladic removed from the courtroom on Friday after he pulled out papers with contents written in large letters and handed them to his lawyers. It was written "1943-1991-1992?" on one of the papers that was visible from the observation gallery. Mladic removed from Hague Tribunal courtroom After the second recess, Judge Alphons Orie noted that Mladic was handling papers whose contents were visible to the judges, attorneys and audience and assessed that it was “inappropriate”. “The court has therefore decided to remove Mladic from the courtroom for the day in order to establish order,” Orie pointed out. The proceeding continued after Mladic was escorted out of the courtroom. Mladic was removed from the courtroom for the first time in July 2011 when he was supposed to enter a plea. He refused to keep quiet and listen to the judge even though he had been warned several times. The former Republic of Srpska (RS) Army commander is accused of genocide in Srebrenica and another seven Bosnian municipalities, persecution of Muslims and Croats across Bosnia-Herzegovina, terrorizing residents of Sarajevo with artillery and sniper attacks and taking UN personnel hostage from 1992 until 1995.
