The Serbian police helped arrest eight arms smuggling ring suspects in Belgium early on Monday, Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has said. He told Tanjug on Tuesday that police arrested eight persons, five of whom are presumed to be Serbian citizens, in the operation carried out in Belgium in the early morning hours on Monday. Serbian police help arrest arms smugglers “In a vehicle with a special compartment, police found the parts of a total of nine Kalashnikov (AK-47) assault rifles, one pistol, two rocket launchers, nine grenades and several hundred rounds of ammunition,” said Dacic.
