Fourth victim of car crash succumbs to his injuries The March 2 traffic accident in the town of Pancevo instantly killed two women - 28-year-old Milena Rusov, and her sister, 23-year-old Ljiljana Rusov. Their friend, 23-year-old Jadranka Jovic died five days later in the hospital. The three women were all passengers in the BWM, whose driver, Predrag Bojanic, is now in police custody. The Belgrade media quoted Bojanic as saying that he "regretted it", and that he would "feel better about everything had they all not died". The 34-year-old driver also claims that he "does not remember" the details of the crash. Meanwhile an investigative judge several days ago took the statements of three witnesses in the case, while the forensic examination of the BMW - dubbed "the death car" by the Belgrade tabloids - is expected soon, according to reports. The case caused outrage in Serbia because despite the gravity of the accident, and the fact that the driver - who had 0.39 permilles of alcohol in his blood when he ran a red light and crashed into Fustic's car at high speed - gave his statement to the police and was free to leave the scene. It took a warrant signed by State Prosecutor Zagorka Dolovac for Bojanic to be placed in police custody. (sxc.hu) B92 Mondo
