The Belgrade police have arrested three persons and seized more than nine kilograms of cannabis in two separate raids on Wednesday, the MUP has announced. The police also confiscated three pistols, a sniper rife, an automatic rifle, and a hand grenade. 3 arrested, weapons, 9 kilos of cannabis seized The suspects arrested today were identified as 23-year-old Uros N., a Belgrade resident, 30-year-old Sinarev M. from Kostolac, and 33-year-old Zoran R. from Zrenjanin. Uros N. was arrested on suspicion that he trafficked drugs, while the other two were charged with illegal arms and explosives possession and sale. The raids today were part of Operation Morava, the MUP said. The suspects arrested today were identified as 23-year-old Uroš N., a Belgrade resident, 30-year-old Sinarev M. from Kostolac, and 33-year-old Zoran R. from Zrenjanin.

Uroš N. was arrested on suspicion that he trafficked drugs, while the other two were charged with illegal arms and explosives possession and sale.

The raids today were part of Operation Morava, the MUP said.

The ongoing operation was launched over a year ago, and is targeting networks of drug traffickers who operate near schools and other venues that attract youths.
