Trial of far-right organization Obraz leader Mladen Obradovic continued in Belgrade on Monday. Obradovic is accused of discriminating LGBT population ahead of the Pride Parade which was not held out of security reasons two years ago. Obraz leader’s trial continues Gay-Straight Alliance representative Lazar Pavlovic testified today, describing the atmosphere ahead of the 2009 Pride Parade. According to the witness, Obraz and Obradovic's actions represented a call for violence and intimidation and they contributed to the atmosphere of fear so that not even police and other state bodies were able to guarantee safety to the Pride Parade participants. Pavlovic pointed out that one of Obraz's principles, listed on their website, said “you will be exterminated because of your perversion“. The trial will continue on November 25.
