The Brankov Bridge over the Sava River in Belgrade was closed today before 16:00 CET after a tipoff was received that a bomb was placed there.

The Brankov Bridge over the Sava River in Belgrade was closed today before 16:00 CET after a tipoff was received that a bomb was placed there. It was open again for the traffic after half an hour. Busy Belgrade bridge opens after bomb scare Serbian MUP's bomb squad officers searched the scene and found no explosive devices. Police previously blocked access to the bridge from both sides rerouting the traffic to the Old Tram Bridge. A fake bomb tipoff closed the bridge for several hours in late January, and again on February 11.
