If Croatia does not request extradition of Tihomir Purda in the next ten days Serbia will, Serbian Justice Minister Snezana Malovic told B92. She said that documentation on Purda, who is suspected of war crimes against the Serbs in Vukovar, would be submitted to the Croatian judiciary today or tomorrow. Justice minister on extradition of war crimes suspect “If Croatia does not request extradition of Purda, who is in extradition detention in Bosnia-Herzegovina, in the next ten days Serbia will,” the minister told B92. “Handing over the evidence to the Croatian judiciary does not mean that the Serbian judiciary will completely withdraw from the case. In a way it is in a dormant phase here and we have the right to monitor and review what has been done at their judiciary’s level,” Malovic explained. “If we are not satisfied with the decision and the outcome of the proceedings we can re-activate the proceedings here,” she concluded.
