The Serbian Customs prevented on Tuesday a Bolivian woman from smuggling more than 30 packets of drugs, likely cocaine, said reports. The drugs were "hidden in the gastrointestinal tract", while the suspect was entering the country at Belgrade's airport. The 30-year-old Bolivian, identified as V.R.A., commenced her journey from Santa Cruz, via Sao Paulo and Zurich, and finally arrived in Belgrade. She is currently treated at Belgrade's VMA military clinic. Reports said that the suspect, who speaks only Spanish, told investigators that she swallowed a total of 115 10-gram packets of cocaine.

The 30-year-old Bolivian, identified as V.R.A., commenced her journey from Santa Cruz, via Sao Paulo and Zurich, and finally arrived in Belgrade.

She is currently treated at Belgrade's VMA military clinic. Reports said that the suspect, who speaks only Spanish, told investigators that she swallowed a total of 115 10-gram packets of cocaine.
