Three activists of the radical ethnic Albanian Self-Determination Movement have been arrested in Kosovo, said reports. This movement stated that the police in Lipljan, near Pristina, had arrested three of its activists while they were replacing the Kosovo flag with the national flags of Albania. Self-Determination activists arrested Spokesman of the Kosovo police Baki Kelani confirmed the arrest report, adding that the arresting officers were wearing their uniforms. “The police detained three persons while they were removing the state flags and transferred them to the police station for questioning. They did not say they were the Self-Determination activists,” said Keljani. He said that the arrested persons were released after the questioning and that they will be prosecuted. Police also attempted to arrest more Self-Determination activists, this time in Djakovica, and for the same reason, but they were prevented by the movement's other members. The party said that members of the police (KPS) there "insulted the activists, the whole movement and leader Albin Kurti, calling him a pro-Serb element."
