A Nis Express bus that was carrying tourists from their vacation in Montenegro came under attack at the entrance to Novi Pazar. The town is the largest in Serbia's southwestern Sandzak region. A spokeswoman for Nis Express said that the incident happened in the early hours of Sunday, that the windshield on the bus was broken, and that the perpetrators had been caught by police. The motive behind the attack remains unknown. Reports said that a "group of young men on their way back from a cafe" saw the passing bus, and took to throwing stones at it.
