Five Serbs, arrested for disorderly conduct, were released from police custody after 48 hours, Kosovo police, KPS officials stated. KPS Deputy Director for Northern Kosovska Mitrovica, Ergin Medic, said that the case of the five persons, two of which are KPS members, will be handed over to the courts, adding that the two are under suspension. The five Serbs were arrested for disorderly conduct while intoxicated on Saturday night in the Kosovska Mitrovica community of Bosnjacka Mahala and refusing to show personal identification to police. The police arrived to the home after receiving a call stating that gunfire from an automatic weapon was heard coming from the residence. In a search conducted after the arrest, a hand grenade, seven knives and ammunition for an automatic rifle were found in the home. The two KPS members, who were off duty at the time, were arrested for obstructing police.
