Gnjilane: Suspect tried to bring bomb into school

The Kosovo Police Service stated that it has arrested a Serb man who was trying to bring a bomb into a school in the village of Kusce, near Gnjilane.

The Kosovo Police Service stated that it has arrested a Serb man who was trying to bring a bomb into a school in the village of Kusce, near Gnjilane. KPS regional spokesperson Ismet Hashani told the Tanjug news agency that a school worker first noticed the man with a bomb in his hand, reacted quickly and was able to take the explosive away from the suspect, after which he called the police. Gnjilane: Suspect tried to bring bomb into school Hashani said that the man has been remanded into custody for a period of 48 hours in a Gnjilane prison. He also mentioned that the suspect was of Serbian ethnicity and that the police have possession of the bomb. The home of the suspect was searched after the arrest and one rifle was found as well. The ongoing investigation will look to find out what the suspect intended to do with the bomb and what his motive was, Hashani said.
