Serbian police (MUP) in Nova Varos today arrested a Bosnian national suspected of involvement in human trafficking. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Bojan P., was found in his vehicle along with four citizens of Albania, the police directorate (PU) in this southwestern town said in a statement. Man arrested for trafficking Albanians One of the Albanians, identified as Orgest L., 20, is now facing misdemeanor charges for staying in Serbia illegally, while the three others are minors and have been handed over to the local social welfare center. An investigative judge who was given the case has ordered the suspect to remain in custody for eight days, the statement said.
