Damir Dokic, father of tennis star Jelena Dokic, has been accused of endangering the safety of the Australian ambassador in Serbia and weapons possession. The deputy prosecutor in Ruma, Vladimir Sarac, said that Dokic had been indicted and that the case had been passed to the town’s municipal court. Tennis star’s father indicted Dokic was arrested at his home in Fruska Gora on May 6, for making threats to Australian Ambassador Clare Birgin, after his daughter Jelena told an Australian daily that her father had physically abused her. During a search of his home, police uncovered rifles and guns without licenses, along with two bombs and 20 375-caliber bullets.

Dokić was arrested at his home in Fruška Gora on May 6, for making threats to Australian Ambassador Clare Birgin, after his daughter Jelena told an Australian daily that her father had physically abused her.
