Serb leader's sentence reduced Today's final ruling rejected his responsibility for genocide in Bosnia-Herzegovina, but confirmed that he took part in persecution, deportation and forcible transfer of population there during the 1992-95 war. Krajisnik was found guilty in a Hague ruling on Sept. 27, 2006, for committing crimes against humanity, that included murder, extermination, persecution based on political, racial and religious grounds, deportation and forcible transfer of Bosnian Muslims and Croats. The court chamber in the first degree process found that he was part of a joint criminal enterprise headed by former RS President Radovan Karadzic and other wartime Bosnian Serb leaders, whose goal was to "ethnically recompose territories by drastically reducing the number of Muslims and Croats by driving them out of certain areas". The first degree chamber found Krajisnik guilty of murder or extermination of almost 3,000 Bosnian Muslims and Croats and forcible displacement of more than 100,000 others.
