According to daily Blic, a former special police commander is willing to testify in the Bitiqi brothers murder trial. According to the daily’s sources close to the investigation, the former commander of special police units in Kosovo, Goran Radosavljevic, called Judge Vesko Krstajic who is leading the inquiry, and told him that he was ready to testify. Daily: Former police chief wants to testify The finger of suspicion in the case points to three members either of the special police units or the Special Operations Unit (JSO) under Milorad Ulemek’s command. The investigation has established that then Deputy Interior Minister Vlastimir Djordjevic ordered the murders. Ilaj, Mehmet and Agron Bitiqi were murdered in July 1999, and their bodies were found in 2001 in a mass grave in Petrovo Selo near Kladovo.
