EUFOR officials yesterday searched the homes of Radovan Karadzic’s family. The homes of Karadzic’s daughter and wife - Sonja Karadzic Jovicevic and Ljiljana Zelen Karadzic – were searched today. Karadzic family homes searched The operation was carried out on the basis of a Hague Tribunal search warrant in an effort to obtain information that could lead to the arrest of the Hague fugitive, EUFOR spokesman Philip Treloar said. He told reporters that the searches were being conducted at three locations, two homes and one apartment, adding that no incidents of any note had taken place during the searches. Treloar said that a further aim had been to put pressure on Karadzic’s support network. Heavily armed international forces were present at all three locations, accompanied by local police officers.

The operation was carried out on the basis of a Hague Tribunal search warrant in an effort to obtain information that could lead to the arrest of the Hague fugitive, EUFOR spokesman Philip Treloar said.

He told reporters that the searches were being conducted at three locations, two homes and one apartment, adding that no incidents of any note had taken place during the searches.

Treloar said that a further aim had been to put pressure on Karadžić’s support network.

Heavily armed international forces were present at all three locations, accompanied by local police officers.
