Kosovo police said Tuesday that reported attack on Vesna Bojicic most likely did not take place. KPS spokesman Veton Elshani told journalists in Pristina the results of the investigation so far pointed to that conclusion. He added the inquiry will continue. "VOA reporter assault complaint likely false" Bojicic, a Voice of America freelancer from Kosovo, reported she was attacked in her home in Caglavica on October 16. She claimed she was beaten by "a man wearing camouflage who spoke excellent Serbian, who assaulted her for her pro-Albanian reporting."
