Mali and Yuan also spoke about establishing stronger relations between the Chinese province and the City of Belgrade, and about Chinese investments in the Serbian capital, while the mayor pointed out that the city finds it important to cooperate "with every province and every city" as well as it does with Beijing and Shanghai.

"I took the opportunity to invite the founder and president of Alibaba Group, Jack Ma - on behalf of the president of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic - to come to Belgrade, to share with us his experiences, and there was also talk about setting up a Chinese trade distribution center, which would be a regional hub," said Mali.

The meeting also touched on cooperation in the field of tourism, trade, IT sector and agriculture, while the interlocutors "agreed that there is a particularly notable improvement in tourism cooperation, especially after the abolition of visas."

It was also agreed to present Belgrade at the Tourism Fair in the Zhejiang province.
